It's a long weekend with no obligations, and that calls for handmade pasta, Italian wine, and a seat on one of London's best streets. 64 Old Compton Street is open on Good Friday (3rd April), Easter Sunday (5th April), and Easter Monday (6th April).

We're right in the middle of one of London's most iconic streets, with big windows that let you soak up the atmosphere while you eat. The room fills with natural light during the day and has a warm, buzzy feel in the evening. Come for a leisurely Easter Sunday lunch, or stop in for dinner before heading somewhere else in central London.

Handmade Pasta and Italian Classics

The pasta is handmade every day and served with sauces that have been perfected over the years. There's burrata with heritage tomatoes to start, wild mushroom and truffle arancini if you want something warm, and mains that range from spaghetti carbonara to linguine with tiger prawns. If you're a truffle fan, the pappardelle with porcini and truffle oil is a favourite.

Pizzas come out of the oven with bubbling mozzarella, and there's a homemade beef lasagna that sells out most weekends. For dessert, the chocolate fondant is rich and indulgent, and the panna cotta is light enough to finish on even after a big meal.

The wine list leans Italian and French, with bottles starting at £27 and going up to an Amarone at £54 for something special. Glasses are available if you'd rather try a few different wines over the course of the meal.

The cocktail menu has house creations like the Blood Orange Martini, Italiano Sour, and 64 Compton St Picante alongside classics like Negroni, Aperol Spritz, and Espresso Martini. If you're not drinking, there are non-alcoholic options, including a Blood Orange Breeze and Passion Fruit Fizz.

Before or After the Theatre

Old Compton Street is surrounded by West End theatres, so if you're seeing something over the Easter weekend, we're well placed for lunch or dinner before or after. If you have a theatre show to get to, let us know when you book and we'll make sure the timing works.

We can seat couples, smaller tables, and bigger parties. If anyone in your group has specific requirements, mention it when you book, and we'll take care of it. Four-legged friends are welcome.
